We aim to limit the collection and processing of personal data to what is necessary for the operation of the website and the organization of GTOS 2027. Depending on how you use the website and GTOS services, we may process personal data for the following purposes:
- operation and technical security of the website,

- registration for GTOS 2027,
- payment and invoicing,
- abstract and poster submission,
- abstract review and scientific programme planning,
- communication with participants, presenters and speakers,
- organization of the on-site symposium,

Registration for GTOS 2027
Registration for GTOS 2027 is processed through Eveeno. Registration is not possible without the collection and processing of the personal data required to manage your booking.
The data provided during registration may be processed for:
- participant registration,
- booking administration,
- participant communication,
- payment processing,
- invoicing,
- ticketing,
- participant lists,
- on-site registration and accreditation,
- additional bookings,
- catering and special requirements,
- organizational communication before, during and after the symposium.
Only data necessary for the respective purpose will be processed. Where Eveeno processes personal data on behalf of the organizers, the processing is additionally subject to the applicable privacy policy and data protection provisions of the service provider.
Abstract and Poster Submission
Submission of an abstract for GTOS 2027 requires the collection and processing of personal data.
This may include:
- presenting author name and contact details,
- names of co-authors,
- author affiliations,
- abstract title,
- abstract category,
- abstract content,
- keywords,
- presentation information.
These data are processed for the purpose of:
- receiving and administering abstract submissions,
- assigning submissions to reviewers,
- conducting the scientific review process,
- communicating review decisions,
- preparing the scientific programme,
- organizing poster and Flash Poster Talk presentations,
- communicating with presenters.
Abstracts are reviewed by members or designated reviewers of the GTOS Programme Committee.
If an abstract is accepted, the abstract title, author names, affiliations and scientific content may be included in the GTOS programme, website and other symposium-related materials.

Storage Period

Abstract and programme-related information may be retained as part of the scientific and organizational documentation of GTOS 2027.
